Minecraft Multimodal

By Samuel G. Collins, Matthew Durington, and Harjant S. Gill (Towson University)

“Minecraft Multimodal” was presented at the 2018 joint SVA/SCA conference, “Displacements.” It summarizes the multimodal editors’ philosophies of multimodality and introduces some of the work that has been published in the section. Rather than a definitive statement, though, this short video sketches directions and filiations of an emerging multimodality, one that subsequent contributors and editors will help define.
